He was born December 18, 1948 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Roy W. and Madaline Harvey Hetrick.
Wilbur was a 1968 graduate of Carmichaels High School and he was a retired coal miner.
He was an active member of the Greene Valley Church of God.
On May 18, 1968 he married Sherry Mathews, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Lavone (Greg) Weaver of Clarksville, Wilbur (Sue) Hetrick II of Middletown, and Debbie (Kevin) Roberts of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Aaron Weaver, Brittany Holskey, Courtney Hetrick, Kevin Roberts II, and Elsa Roberts; four brothers, Clinton (Leona) Hetrick of Macedonia, OH, Willard (Dianna) Hetrick of Waynesburg, Roy D. (Connie) Hetrick of Greensburg, and Kirk (Michelle) Hetrick of Jefferson; three sisters, Madaline Hayden of Clarksville, Vivian (Jerry) Gould of Washington, and Karen (Charles) Brashear of Woodsfield, OH.
Deceased in addition to his parents is a granddaughter, Laura Lee Weaver.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2021 in the Greene Valley Church of God, 558 Crucible Rd., Rices Landing, PA 15357, with Pastor Jeff Hathaway officiating.
