Kenneth R. Grooms

He was born December 6, 1933 in Jefferson, a son of the late William S. and Bertha Yoders Grooms.

Mr. Grooms had served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

He had worked as a supervisor for RG Johnson Construction for 35 years.

Mr. Grooms was a member of the First Christian Church of Waynesburg, the American Legion Post #330, Disabled American Veterans #123, the Veterans of Foreign Wars #4793 and the Moose Lodge #461 all of Waynesburg.

On December 13, 1957 he married Patricia Parker, who died October 10, 1985.

Surviving are three children, Sharon (Bob) Patterson, Kathleen (Dave) Huffman and William K. (Kathy Kramer) Grooms all of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Kenneth (Julie) Patterson, Melissa Patterson, Joshua (Jen) Huffman, Megan Huffman, and Laura Grooms; six great grandchildren, Larsyn and Charlee Huffman, Emily and Landon Patterson, Kaitlyn Yeager and Damien Boden; and a brother, Thomas B. Grooms of Virginia.

Deceased are two brothers, Billy Joe Grooms and George Clinton Grooms.
