Dear Terry and Shawn, my heart goes out to you.  Her loss must have been such a shock. We are never ready to lose someone we love regardless of circumstances.  I feel so lucky to have taught with her at West Alexander. She was an excellent teacher and gave her heart and soul to the profession.   Billie gave me such unique perspectives on the kids and parents.  This was so helpful as I was new to the area.  The picture you have, captured the smile that I always associated with her.  She made a difference to all who crossed paths with her.  I feel blessed to one of those people.-Janet Ward

Billie was the smartest, kindest, and  sweetest woman I have ever known.  Only wonderful thoughts when I think of her.  Rest Sweetheart. 

Mrs. Smiley was my 4th grade teacher at Claysville Elementary and one of my favorites.   I have very fond memories of her and being a student in her classroom.  My deepest sympathy to you and your family. 

I extend to Terry and Shawn my very deepest sympathy. I have been a friend of Terry and Billie Jo for years.  I met them while teaching in McGuffey. They were wonderful friends and a very special couple. My special thoughts and prayers are with you Terry and Shawn.
