Albert L. White Jr.

He was born July 23, 1938 in Fredericktown, a son of the late Albert Lemoin White and Garnet H. Gordon.

Albert served in the United States AIr Force for 8 years during the Vietnam War.

He was a retired coal miner from Clyde MIne in Fredericktown.

Albert was a member of the Clarksville Christian Church, the American Legion Post# 954, the United Mine Workers of America.

He loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, loved to sing and write songs, wrote poetry.

Albert was a jokester and told lots of DAD jokes.

On April 1, 1961 he married Charlotte Ann Beatty, who survives.

Also surviving are five children, Carole L. White of Orange, VA, Susan W. Malone of Clarksville,April D. Douglas) Ward of Sheffield Lake, OH, Albert L. (Robin) White III of Greensburg, Stephanie E. (Deric) Sands of Clarksville; three grandchildren, Meagan (Timothy) Austin of Spartansburg, SC, Christin T. (Marissa) Sands of Greensboro, Dylan White of Greensboro; a great grandson, Ethan Alexander Austin and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, Edward White and a sister, Donna White Gill.

A visitation for Albert will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Behm Funeral Homes, 1477 Jefferson Rd, Jefferson, Pennsylvania 15344, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Samaritan's Purse (www.samaritanspurse.org).
