The family will welcome friends at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, Friday, June 7, 2024, from 1 until 2 p.m. Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel with burial at Pleasantfield Cemetery. Officiated by Hal Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Ardelle Sides; child, Tammy Carr Oliver; sister, Joyce Sides Wolfe; in-laws, Juelette Pounds Carr and Howard Carr.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Carr; grandchildren, Brady Oliver and Wyatt Oliver; sister, Linda Stewart (Daniel); son-in-law, Kevin Oliver; sister-in-law, Janet Carr Handley (Gary Sawyers).
Margaret served at Jasper’s First Baptist Church for 40 years working in the nursery and preschool. She was a devoted member at Pleasantfield Baptist Church. She was loved by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Jasper’s First Baptist Church Benevolence Fund in honor of Margaret Carr.
