Visitation will be held today, Jan. 30, 2018, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Carbon Hill High School Gymnasium. Funeral services will be held today, Jan. 30, 2018, at 1 p.m. in the Carbon Hill High School Gymnasium. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper. Pastor Joey Vick, Carbon Hill Head Coach Scott Curd, and Coach Chavis Williams will officiate.

Jarrett was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jeanette Turner; and sister, Tiffany Cagle.

He is survived by his father, Johnnie Turner and his fiancé, Michelle Watson; mother, Tina Maakestad; grandparents, Jimmie Turner, Bill and Louise Woods; siblings, Chrissie Turner, Landon Hooper, Tanner Dukes, Alexia Dukes, Aslan Dukes, and Justin Cagle; aunts and uncles, Jason Turner, Rhonda Guthrie, Patricia Easley Suchey (Patrick), and Tracy Benefield (Tim); nieces, Alice Hooper, Josie Hooper; cousins, Caci Easley, John Cohen Suchey, and Heather Henderson; along with many close friends he considered family.

Pallbearers will be members of the Carbon Hill Varsity Football Team.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Carbon Hill High School Athletic Department.
