Judith Wiggins Marshburn

Judy Marshburn, 68, of Jacksonville passed to eternal life January 9th, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. She was a charter member of Centerview Baptist Church and above all else loved the Lord first. Judy worked as the activity director at Carebridge Assisted Living for 12 years and had a genuine passion and love for everyone especially the elderly. Her smile and boundless energy touched the hearts of many.

She is survived by her devoted husband who loved her dearly for 51 years, Tony Alan Marshburn; sister, Jeri Grace of Maine; daughter, Hope Marshburn Dees and her husband, Rodney Dees of New Bern; son, Eric Alan Marshburn and his wife, Sabra Davis Marshburn of New Bern; and 5 cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Marshburn, Michael Dees, Erica Weston, Stephen Dees and Dylan Marshburn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Rachel Wiggins, and brother, McCagie Wiggins. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Centerview Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Schwalm officiating followed by a private family graveside service.
