He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 17, 1943. Wendell enjoyed a long career with Eastman Kodak.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Connie Russell, his son Scott Russell (Rindy), step children Arty Christy, Caren Padgett (Travis) and Rob Christy (Becca) and 4 grandchildren Caylee, Ciera, Cortlynn and Brighton.
Wendell never met a stranger and made everyone he met feel loved and important. He spent his days enjoying time on the beach, traveling the country in his RV with his wife and his puppies, spending time with friends and family, and playing with his Grandchildren.
The most important thing in Wendell’s life was his relationship with Christ and sharing the good news of Jesus with others.
The world was truly a better place with Wendell in it.
