Valerie Shatoya Hudson

Valerie was able to achieve her high school diploma from Bushwick High School later becoming a foster parent for over 20 yrs with St. Joseph Children Services providing a loving home for so many children. Valerie was a person who loved on and was loved by everyone, especially her family.

Valerie was the hostest with the mostest. She was known for her famous parties that seemed like block parties and card games. She was a give and an all around good person.

Valerie will be joining her dad Milton Folk and mother Anna Folk with two sisters Bertina Windley and Alice Folk.

Surviving family members her husband Daryll Hudson, son Steve Folk,daughters Shatoya Folk and Dariell Hudson. Her brothers Milton Folk, Jeffrey Folk and sisters Catherine Folk, Diane Folk, Geraldine Reed. Her grand children Zaire, Steve Jr, Christina and Zariyah. Niece's and nephew's who loved her dearly.

A visitation for Valerie will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 12:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal ceremony will occur Wednesday, December 18, 2024, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
