Stephen Peyton Lewis, 71 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on January 1, 2018. He was born in Bluefield, Virginia to the late William J. and Nannie White Lewis. He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Susan Watson Lewis of 48 years and two sisters; Patricia Fouraker and Teresa (Lowell) Andre. He also is survived by four sisters-in-law; Pat (Mark) Copeland, Jane Dieffenbacher, Carol Rice and Nancy (Ian) Beattie and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Johnny, Clint and Elmer. After serving in the Army for a few years, Steve began working for White Publishing and then ATT Mobility. Besides enjoying the time with his family, Steve loved the Georgia Bulldogs and his many pets over the years. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 11am to 1pm in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
