Robert Mathews Smith, Jr, 88, son of Robert M. Smith and Elsie Cochran Smith, died August 22, 2023.
He was born in Jacksonville, Florida and attended Southside Grammar School and Landon High School.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Robin Hollister Smith. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Smith, his daughter, Michelle Smith Todd (Mark) and granddaughters, Nara-Lee Todd and MarieIle Todd.
A visitation for Robert will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 SAN JOSE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32207. Private graveside will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery.
