Robert “Rob” Warren Oliver, Jr., 41, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012. He was born in Laredo, Texas to Robert W. Oliver, Sr., and Shirley Atkinson Oliver. Robbie was a member of Park Lane Baptist Church of Jacksonville, FL. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. The past several years he fought a courageous fight with cancer. He never complained throughout all of his medical treatments, and always kept a positive attitude to live a strong fulfilling life with his family and friends. Robbie is survived by his mother and father, Robert and Shirley Oliver; his brother, Ron Oliver and his wife Chris; his 2 precious nieces, Holly and Sarah; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11:00am, in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Carney officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.
