Robert G. Ludwig

Robert “Bobby” G. Ludwig, 74, passed away on June 29, 2023 after a short illness in Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital. He is survived by two brothers Richard “Dickie” and Rusty Ludwig, both of Jacksonville, Florida, two daughters Loretta Lacy (Michael) and Elizabeth Hyder (Victor), both of Hendersonville, North Carolina, two sons Robert Ludwig Jr. (Suzi) of Keystone Heights, Florida and Michael Ludwig of Jacksonville, Florida and nine grandkids, Patrick, Nicholas, Victor Grant, Bentley, Sarah, Elizabeth Grace, Brandon, Ashton, and Alexa. Bobby also had many nieces and nephews, along with many friends. Robert is proceeded in death by his parents Richard R. Ludwig, Ruth Marie Ludwig and one brother Randy Ludwig. Robert enjoyed being an electrician for many years, before becoming self-employed. His Hobbies were to tinker on old cars, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved with his whole heart specially all of his friends from the café. A visitation service will be held on Sunday July 2 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday July 3 at 11 am. The family wishes to have people dress in in red, white, blue to honor one of his favorite holidays.
