Peggy had a superior academic record -- proud National Honor Society graduate of Englewood High School -- Class of 1969, and obtained her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in 1973.
Peggy's outstanding work efforts are well known in the Florida Real Estate industry. She spent years as an independent broker specializing in mortgage assets, and was also a recognized Re-Max broker. She held progressively responsible positions at Kellearn Title, First Union Bank, Treco, Fidelity, and currently has been serving LPS as Assistant Vice President.
She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Steve Glass, her cherished daughter Vanessa Noelle Glass, mother Dorothy Dickson, and sister Gale Dickson, all of Mandarin.
Also surviving Peggy is her brother Alan Dickson (Melanie) of Palm Harbor and sister Linda King of Fort Worth, Texas.
Peggy will also be missed by nieces and nephews Danielle Dickson and Joseph Dickson in Florida and Laura King and Alex King in Texas. She leaves behind cousins and family nationwide, a host of sorrowing friends and co-workers. Also at a loss without Peggy will be her rescued Siamese, Bella.
No one can think of Peggy without acknowledging her love of family gatherings and how wonderful they would be with Peggy in charge! Peggy inspired loyalty from all -- still close to friends she has had since childhood. Please remember Peggy and her family in your prayers.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16th in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
