Peggy Louise Dent

Peggy Louise Dent, 94, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 2, 1924. She married Willis F. Dent II in 1942. Peggy was predeceased by her husband, Willis F. Dent II, and her grandson, Van Gainey.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Alice Gainey, Linda Armstrong, and Ruby McMullen, her son, Willis F. Dent III “Bubba”, her grandchildren, Will Gainey, Norman Highsmith, Melinda Solana, and Bradley Highsmith, and her brother, Kenneth Cox “Butch”. Peggy is so dearly loved by her family and her friends, and she will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 12, 2019, at River City Baptist Church, 6801 Merrill Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32277.
