Patricia Tejada de Zelaya

Patty was born in Lima, Peru. She is survived by her husband Ricardo, daughters, Karen and Brenda, and granddaughter Savannah. Patty was a woman of faith and is in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. Patty loved her family immensely. She leaves a unique legacy and many teachings that will last for generations. She and the family lived there until 2004, and then moved to the United States of America. The family move was a success and they quickly adapted to the new society with family and friends. Patty was the engine behind the family's success as she always encouraged her husband and daughters to always follow their dreams and never give up. A few years later, Patty became a grandmother, a perfect grandmother. She adored her granddaughter Savannah. Patty would always make her soups and desserts, and enjoyed taking care of her at all times. Now, Patty is in heaven and will always be our guardian angel.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30am on Monday, March 29, 2021 at St. Joseph's Historic Church, 4214 Loretto Road, Jacksonville, FL 32223. Interment will be private, for immediate family only.
