Noah was a Junior at the University of North Florida and a member of the Florida Air National Guard 125th Fighter Wing, serving in the maintenance squadron as an Egress Systems Technician. Noah loved playing for the UNF Ultimate Frisbee Team and served as the president and captain of the team for the past year. He was a champion trap shooter, avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed snowboarding. Those who knew Noah best, understood his passion for cars, including his beloved 370Z, which led to many friendships and late-night cruises. Most of all, Noah loved Jesus and that love was demonstrated in how he viewed and treated all of those that grew to know him and call him family or friend.
Noah is survived by his parents, David and Lisa Dowdy of Fort Myers, Florida, his sister Jadyn Dowdy of Jacksonville, Florida, his grandparents Bill and Judy Francis and Tom and Linda Dowdy, uncles Chris Dowdy, Charles Dowdy, and Tony and Rhonda Francis, great grandparents, Dorothy Francis, David Paden, and Barbara Dowdy, as well as a great uncle and aunt, 10 cousins and countless friends.
A visitation for Noah will be held Monday, October 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225, followed by a celebration of life from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
