Nancy and I have been life long friends. We attended grammar school and high school in Walterbobo, SC. In recent years we have communicated through Christmas cards with personal messages to each other.  I have just learned of Nancy's passing and wanted to express my sadness at this news. My prayer is that God's peace and comfort will be present with the family as you take this difficult journey we call grief. Nancy was a dear sister in Christ and showed her love for Him and others in many ways. God bless you all.

I have known Nancy since I was 20 years old. I worked on the weekends in her lab as a processor while I attended school. She was an excellent Microbiologist and was kind and a very good friend over the years. She gave me my first tech job. I went on in her footsteps as the Microbiology Supervisor for 13 years. Even though she went on to work at the State Lab, we always kept in touch directly or indirectly.  Kind, spiritual and one of the best Microbiologists I have ever known. I will miss you Nancy. Rest In Peace.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Nancy. She was my first supervisor at Baptist in the microbiology department.
I think of her when I hire new medical technologists in the laboratory.

Other that mom and dad,  "Tante" and "Aunt Su" were the closest family I knew as a child.  

I remember the time we vacationed in two cabins up in the NC mountains.   Playing in the fields with Muffin, Lisa and Ann, catching crayfish in the creeks and fireflies in the cool of the summer evening.  

Our hearts hurt for you all and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Nancy was like a ray of sunshine.  She always made you feel better,  with just a kind uplifting word or the love that she shared. She was so sweet and caring and never complained even when she was uncomfortable. I  feel so fortunate to have known her and she will be missed terribly. I can’t imagine the void that her family must feel but I’m sure she would want them to try to fill it with God’s love and peace. She loved God so much and shared it with those she met. God bless each of you with His strength and comfort in the loss of such a special person.

Special thoughts and prayers in your loss, dear Nancy. It’s been a lot of years and many memories, the best of which is learning micro under your watchful eyes in that small lab on 2 North at BMC-D. Those were really good days!  You will be missed, but I know you are now at peace, no longer in pain and resting in the arms of our Heavenly Father. 

Nancy was a wonderful friend through the years.  She was always a bright spot, and we had lots of good laughs in the lab when we read through our Jack Handy books to cheer us up on a hard day.  She was extremely knowledgeable and taught me lots about microbiology and TB.  It was always so nice to see her for our occasional get-togethers even though I had moved away from Jacksonville.   I am so sorry she is gone, but I know she is in peace.  

I loved Nancy.   I am saddened more about not seeing her recently.   Nancy was very supportive both professionally and emotionally.   All I can say is that she is a very bright spot in my heart and I hate this news but life has a way of humbling us with the reminder that there is a clock and the fulfillment of eternity requires that.   Love you Nancy
