Michael Lanier Tomlinson, age 63, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on November 5, 2022. He was born in Longview, TX on October 19, 1959 to Kenneth Elmers Tomlinson and Esther Beatrice Smith. He graduated from Bonnabel High School, Class of 1977 and married Sandra Reynolds Tomlinson on August 19, 1979. Michael worked as a Systems Engineer with Winn-Dixie (aka Southeastern Grocers) from February 1976 until November 5, 2022.
Michael is survived by sons, David Tomlinson and Sean Tomlinson; mother, Ru Tomlinson; brothers, Ken Tomlinson, Doug Tomlinson, Scott Korndorffer and Adam Korndorffer; sisters, Sharon Korndorffer, Rickie Korndorffer and Kelly Korndorffer.
Preceded in death by spouse, Sandra Tomlinson; and parents Esther Beatrice Smith and Kenneth Elmers Tomlinson.
A visitation for Michael will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Monday, November 21, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
