Max Theodore Watson Jr., 78, passed away on October 9, 2011. Max was the son of Max Theodore and Myrtle M. Willis Watson, Sr. and the stepson of Frank Lipscomb. He attended Andrew Jackson High School, Jacksonville, FL. Max served in the United States Army, received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from University of Alabama and he was a Certified Financial Planner and he was a Certified Public Accountant. Max was married to Marie Denise Dever on August 1, 1959 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Miami Beach, FL. He was an instructor at Spring Hill College, Accountant with Milligan & Burke and the owner of Max T. Watson, Jr. P.A. Accounting Practice for 45 years. Max was part of several organizations such as: Florida Institute of CPA's American Institute of CPA's, Ortega Yacht Club and the YMCA. His hobbies were being with his grandchildren. He was survived by his wife: Marie Denise Watson, son William F. Watson (Mylene), daughters Julia Marie Watson, and Denise Anne Vondehaar (Thomas). Grandchildren: Nathaniel P. Watson, Alexander G. Watson (Kiley), Agnes Clare Vonderhaar, Teresa Kate Vonderhaar, and great-grandchild Gage Alexander Watson. Brother-in-law, Don Siegel; nephew, Keith Siegel. Predeceased by his sister, Yvonne Siegel; niece, Tracy Lipscomb. A Rosary will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at 7pm, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home 729 S. Edgewood Avenue, Jacksonville, FL. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, 11am at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 2609 Park St. Jacksonville, Fl. 32204 at 11am. Immediately following an interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 Main Street, Jacksonville, and FL. 32206. Memorials may be made to St Vincent de Paul Society at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
