Mary Elana Townsend, 34, of Jacksonville passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Mary was born March 16, 1981 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Jimmy and Carolyn (McWhorter) Townsend III. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She was member of Evangel Temple. Mary loved being a mom, enjoyed cooking, and spending time outdoors. Mary was an avid reader and was known by her family as Reese. She will be missed dearly by her daughters Jasmin Bailey and Jaida Nall; brothers Jimmy Townsend IV, Erin Townsend, and Jah-eli Townsend, Joseph Parker Provost, Charlie Morgan, and Matt Hayes; sisters Alexandrea Townsend, Tahirah Townsend, Dorothy Parker, Stacy Miles, Elsie Smith, and Cindy Cappozzoli; and very close friends Lynn Bailey, Michelangelo Duggins, Jeremiah Nall, Mark Miles and Thomas Gonzales .A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Friday November 20, 2015 at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
