Lucy Gill, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home on July 18th, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 27, 1924 on her family’s farm near Trenton, Florida. In 1941 she made her home in St. Augustine, Florida. Mrs. Gill worked in the food service industry for more than 50 years, both at The Monson and Bennett Hotels, and retired after 32 years of dedicated service at The Ponce De Leon Lodge.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Elisha Lott and B.G Gill. Left with loving memories are her daughter, Marjorie Lott Arnold; granddaughter, Diana Arnold; grandson, Nathan Behar; and great-grandson, David Behar.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Hardage-Giddens, The Oaklawn Chapel. The funeral service will be held at twelve o’ clock noon in the Oaklawn Chapel. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
