Louis “Lou” Ramirez, 77, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 16, 2024, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This loss was completely unexpected leaving his family and friends shocked and deeply saddened. His infectious laugh and smile will live on forever.
Lou was born in Freemont, Ohio to Louis and Marjorie Ann Peters Ramirez. He leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years, Judy Ramirez.
Lou’s versatile career, in the Restaurant Management business, marked by unwavering dedication and a strong work ethic that carried him through his life. He was a loving, kind, caring and strong man who enjoyed life to the fullest. Lou’s life was rich in experiences, relationships, and enduring impact. How about those “New York Yankees?” Lou loved his Yankee baseball team even when they lost. He understood their traditions, policies, and history. He equally loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Dolphins. Countless hours were spent watching many exciting games. “Those we love never leave us. They become our guardian angels in the outfield.”
Lou leaves behind many family members.
He is survived by his siblings Carol Norman, Coco and Dan Runion, Harold Ramirez, Dane and Connie Ramirez and Kim Beaver, children, Laurie and Ray Tucker, Amy Wallace, Mandy and Leonard Burress, Jerri Lynn and Sean Adams, Mitchell Rodgers and Dean and Olivia Rodgers, grandchildren Peyton Wallace, Abby Wallace, Lainey Burress, Leonard Burress, Lennox Burress, Legend Burress, Aaron and Nichole Tucker, Lauren and Mark Zdelar, Maddie Adams, Chelsie Rodgers, Courtney and Chris Sanchez, grandchildren Weylan Zdelar, Wade Zdelar and Liliana Sanchez.
He will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday July 24, 2024, at 10:00am Memorial contributions are suggested for Tunnel to Towers. Forever Loved, Forever Missed, and Forever in our Hearts!
