Linda Futch Ragan

Linda Futch Ragan, 77, of Jacksonville, Florida was born in Brunswick, Georgia on November 4th, 1944 to Robert and Evelyn Futch. Married to William “Bill” Ragan, on July 25th, 1981. Linda graduated from Paxon Senior High School and worked as an Assistant Manager at Bellsouth until retirement. Linda was a proud Guardian Ad Litem and made it her mission to protect children as well as a lover and savior of stray animals.

Linda was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Evelyn Futch as well as her husband, William Ragan. Linda is survived by her son Mark Thomas (wife Donna), son Michael Thomas (wife Kim), daughter Marianne Tomberg (husband Michael) and grandchildren Mark II (wife Stephanie) Brittany, Ashley, Alysha, Cassidy “Blaire” (husband Kevin), Mallory and Madison. As well as great grandchildren, Sarah, Katie, Savannah and Maximilian. Linda was 1 of 7 siblings: Alvin (predeceased), Ronnie (predeceased), Wanda, Eddie, Rob and Alan.

A visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road, Jacksonville, FL 32210. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7775 Herlong Road, Jackonville, FL 32210. A graveside service will occur Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
