Linda Joyce Allen

Born in Waycross, Georgia on April 22, 1945, she spent most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida where she raised her family. She loved to watch her Florida Gators play on Saturdays and her Jacksonville Jaguars on Sundays, go fishing with her husband, grow beautiful flowers and vegetables in her yard, and often played Blackjack and Bingo with friends at her last residence.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Joseph Robidoux Sr. in 1990 and her mother, Nancy Eliza Robidoux in 2011. Her memory lives on through her husband, Thomas Hartford Allen III; daughters. Angela Taylor (Robert) and Melissa Long (Harry); sons, Earl Wiggins Jr. (Dena) and John Starling; stepchildren, Thomas W. Allen (Amanda) and LaQuetta Carlisle (Craig); spoiled furbaby, Maddie Mae; brothers, Lawrence Robidoux (Loyce) and Ernest Robidoux Jr. (Tracy); as well as seven well-loved grandchildren; and nine cherished great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Linda will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11:00 am at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Middleburg Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for taking such great care of our mother for the past year.
