Leonard Arthur Raulerson

Leonard A. Raulerson, age 91, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on September 22, 2024. He was born in Baxter, FL on July 12, 1933 to Arthur Raulerson and Nella Yarborough Raulerson. Leonard attended Baldwin High School and Jones Business College, he also served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Army. He and Carlie were married on March 30, 1954.

He retired from Bell South and after retirement traveled, with his wife, throughout the USA, including Alaska, in an RV. He was a member of Whitehouse Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Carlie Raulerson; son, Michael Raulerson (Yajaira); daughter, Terry Louderback (Daniel); sisters, Doris Johnson and Freida Jones of Jacksonville; grandson, Michael and (Tommie) and Matthew (Jennifer) Raulerson; granddaughters, Deanna Clement (Bill) and Denise Simmons; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by son, Leonard Arthur Raulerson, Jr. (Arty).

In lieu of flower the family requests donations be made to Whitehouse Baptist Church Building Fund.

A visitation for Leonard will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Whitehouse Baptist Church, 24 Celery Avenue North, Jacksonville, FL 32220. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 24 Celery Avenue North, Jacksonville, FL 32220. A committal service will occur Friday, September 27, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
