Kyle was born in Jacksonville, FL to Trina Johnson Fisher and John Johnson. Kyle’s stepfather, Alan Fisher, became an important part of his life around the age of 6. Kyle and his mother moved to South Florida when he was in elementary school. He attended Jupiter High School, where he was a member of the football team and jazz band, playing the saxophone. Kyle graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. While at UNF, he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and its parliamentarian, a resident advisor, and a member of the student court. He was in the process of completing his third year of law school at the University of Miami. As a teenager, Kyle’s first job was at Publix, where he was quickly promoted. His next job, which continued for over a decade, was in various positions at his stepfather’s law firm. He worked as a paralegal, questioning things in a positive manner, and making wonderful contributions to the law firm. He was on the verge of becoming a lawyer and had plans to take a Bar review course over the summer.
Under the influence of his father, Kyle became an avid computer gamer at a very early age, and enjoyed online gaming with friends. He was passionate about cooking, and always insisted on cooking for family and friends. During the pandemic, when he returned home for virtual learning, his parents gained their own personal chef. Kyle also admired the craftsmanship of various types of swords and had an extensive collection. He fenced for many years, winning several tournaments. He was an Eagle Scout, and loved camping and other scouting activities.
Kyle was brought up in the Christian religion, and in a partially Jewish multicultural family. In 2013, he had a deep calling for the Catholic religion and converted to Catholicism.
Kyle was predeceased by his grandparents, Ruth Manning, Nellis and Mary Johnson, and Jack and Ruth Fisher, and his aunt, Sharon Marks. Kyle is survived by his parents, Trina Johnson Fisher and John Johnson, his mother and father, and Alan Fisher, his stepfather. He is also survived by his siblings, Allison (Brett) Peltzman and Adam Fisher, and his niece, Blake Peltzman. Kyle has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who will also mourn his loss.
Services will be conducted at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin 11801 San Jose Boulevard Jacksonville, Florida on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 2 PM.
The burial will be at Cuthbertson Cemetery in Crossnore, North Carolina on Sunday, April 25 at 2 PM. Kyle will be laid to rest close to his relatives.
