Katherine Pauline Smith, 82, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 6, 2012. She was born in Jacksonville, FL January 25, 1930. She is survived by her two daughters, Faye (Polly) Norris and Linda Enman, her son, Elliott Smith, a sister, Barbara Butler, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elliott C. Smith, Jr (Charlie), father, Thomas T. Dunn, mother, Leila Belle Dunn, stepmother, Lillian Dunn, sisters Mary Louise Gibson and Pearl Amelia Johnson.
She was retired from AT&T in Jacksonville, FL where she enjoyed a long career as an overseas operator. She was a dedicated wife and mother, an excellent cook, and loved to garden. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her family. We are comforted in knowing that she is now rejoicing in heaven with her beloved husband for all eternity.
