John, better known as Johnny to family and friends, graduated from Bishop Kenny High School and earned a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of North Florida.
He enjoyed time spent with his family whether at home or at work, and this was facilitated when he joined the family coin business on a full-time basis in 2001, allowing him to spend more time with them.
The optimism, perseverance and sense of strength he lived his life with were integral in shaping his family into what it is today. His sense of humor helped too. His life was a life of laughter and love and those who were touched by it were greatly blessed.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Emory Mitchell Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lisa and his children, Jessica, Sarah, Michelle and Dominic. He is also survived by his mother, Patsy Robinson; his sister and her husband, Joan and Roger Lynch; his brother, Jim Robinson; and his sister and her husband Janet and James Stern.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 12th, 2021 at Cedar Hills Baptist Church, 4200 Jammes Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32210. Lunch will follow. Inurnment/committal services will be at Riverside Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m.
