John (JC) Carroll passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 30, 1941 to Hollis and Elizabeth Carroll in Macon, Georgia. JC is an Air Force veteran, who served his country proudly. He lived in Macon until moving to Jacksonville in 1981. He was well known in the car business, last employed by Matheny Jaguar. JC is predeceased by his father Hollis. Mourning his loss are his wife, Mary Woodley Carroll, sons Jay and Robert, all of Jacksonville. Also missing him are his mother, Elizabeth Carroll and sister Jean (Joseph) Briggs of Lake Hartwell, Georgia, and sister Nancy Lee (Charles) Floyd, of Smarr, Georgia. His extended family of aunts, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews, and his "boys" will also miss him greatly. The viewing will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL from 6 - 8 pm Friday, May 7th. Services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11 am at Arlington Methodist Church, 1400 University Blvd. N. with burial following at Greenlawn Cemetery.
