John was a master electrician for Windsor Electric Co. in Baltimore for 46 years, before retiring to Jacksonville, Florida in 2004.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Anne, daughter Susan Gardner Riel, daughter Molly Gardner, daughter Lisa Gardner, daughter Sarah Griffith(William), son John(Jennifer), 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. His sister Lula Fitzberger pre-deceased him.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., December 4th at Deermeadows Baptist Church. The address is 9780 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32256.
