Joan Reichart Nolan,age 63, passed away at her residence on August 3, 2018. She was born on May 9, 1955 in Columbia, South Carolina. She resided in Jacksonville, Florida. She had worked with Hairy Glass for many years building race car bodies for NASCAR and NHRA. She is preceded in death by her father Clark B. Reichart and her loving partner and soulmate Clarence Nolan. Joan is survived by her mother Mabel J. Reichart; her one and only daughter Kelly (Rocky) Rooker; grandsons Wyatt, Grayson, Trace (Lily), and soon to be born great- grandson Cullen; sisters Sandra West, identical twin sister Judy (Al) Durham; nephew Tom (Terri); nieces Candy (Jack), Sandy (John), Julie (Pat); many great-nieces, great- nephews, many loving friends, and neighbors.
Joan loved spending time with her family. She was an avid fisherman, loved to go to the beach, and shopping. She had a great love for animals and nature. Joan will be remembered for the overwhelming love for her grandsons. She also had a fun-loving personality and a giving spirit.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8,2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9,2018 at Seller’s Cemetery locate at 485 Halsema Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32220. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
