Jimmy Sheffield, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018. He was born in Kingsland, Georgia and had lived in Jacksonville most of his life. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Eva Sheffield. He is survived by his daughter Julie Doring (Ken), son Jeff Sheffield (Angie) and four grandchildren, Sarah & Tanner Doring and Tristan & Tyler Sheffield. Funeral services will be held at the Garden Cloister Chapel at Evergreen Cemetery at 11:00 am on Friday, February 9, with interment to follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. will be assisting the family.
