A Jacksonville native, graduate of Edward H. White High School Class of ’87, and Jacksonville University
Class of ‘91. She was a Veteran of the US Navy Reserve from 1990 to 1997. She was employed by Florida Blue in Sales Communications. She shared her beautiful voice as a member of the Praise Team at St. Johns for over 20 years.
She leaves behind her parents, John and Judy Taylor; husband of 32 years, Eugene "Gene" Russell; and sons, Andrew, and Pete. Jamie was the middle sibling to Julie Taylor Lee (Battleground, WA) and Jason Taylor (Orlando, FL). She was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00 am, a Celebration of Life service will be held at St. Johns Presbyterian Church 4275 Herschel Ave. Jacksonville 32210. Reverend Dr. Jon Lovelady will be officiating.
