He was born in Drexel, North Carolina to Earl Moses and Sarah Bollinger. Preceeded by his son Terry Lynn Moses and grandchild James M. Moses III. James was a Merchant Marine for 9 months, National Guard 18 months and retired from the Air Force in 1968. He was also a member of Lutheran Church.
James will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. James is survived by his wife Johnnie Thompson Moses, sons; James M. Moses, Jr. (Linda), Ricky L. Moses (Kathy); daughter Jo Ann Moses Lazure, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 20, 2011.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2011 all located at Town and Country Funeral Home. As an expression of Sympathy, memorial contribution may be made to the Jacksonville Humane Society.
