Jimmy graduated from Watertown High School in 1976, attended SUNY Canton, and graduated from the UMass Turf Management Program, Worcester MA, in 1980. He was employed by golf courses in
Watertown and the state of Florida, and held a management job before he retired. Jimmy will always be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, and loving nature.
He was the son of the late Shirley Campbell Barry Alger and the late Edward Henry Barry. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Lee Barry of St. Augustine FL, formerly of Watertown NY. He is also survived by three brothers Gerard G. Barry, (Huck), and his wife Jan of Watertown NY, Joseph C. Barry and his wife Sherry of Odessa FL, Jay E. Barry and his wife Lisa of Vero Beach FL. Jimmy is also survived by his sister, Judith B. Northrop, and her husband, John, of Watertown NY.
There will be a private memorial service and burial in the summer of 2018 in Watertown, NY.
