James Curtis Albert, Sr., 65, passed away on April 18, 2013. Born in Cleveland, OH to the late Neil and Elizabeth Albert, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Jim, a resident of Jacksonville for over 40 years, loved fishing and golf in his spare time, and was currently employed as a sales manager for 1-800-FLOWERS.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Sharon D. Albert; son, James C. Albert, Jr.; daughters, Lindsey Smedley (Scott) and Jennifer DiGaetani (Mark); brother, Richard Albert (Mary); grandchildren, Logan, Shane, Monica, and one granddaughter on the way; canine companion, Mitzie; along with other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 in Mandarin Presbyterian Church, 11844 Mandarin Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32223.
