Horace G. Lambert Sr. 78 passed away Monday December 8, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born May 3, 1936 in Chula, GA to Charles and Emma Lambert. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1961 and was retired from Moore Pipe and Sprinkler. He loved the outdoors and hunting but he especially loved fishing. He is survived by his wife of 55 1/2 years Betty and his four children, Debra Auth, Horace “Gerald” Jr. (Donna), Richard, Donna Parrish (Kevin), two brothers Lewis and Hoyt Lambert, two sisters Nan Brown and Libby Simmons, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 1:00-2:00pm in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services to begin at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
