Grace M. Grant

Grace M. Grant , 70 years of age, died unexpectedly June 25, 2015 at her home in St. Johns, Florida after a long battle with heart disease. Grace was a retired registered nurse. She had a distinguished career in nursing, with various roles ranging from emergency room to administrative positions in elder care. Grace was a passionate and giving person who enjoyed shopping, reading and spending time at the beach with her beloved dog Lucy. Grace loved to celebrate her Norwegian heritage and Red Sox victories! Her greatest source of pride was raising her two sons. Her most joyous times were spent with her grandchildren. Mrs. Grant is preceded in death by her parents Arne Martinson, Sr. and Rosemary Martinson. Grace is survived by her husband David Grant of St. Johns, Florida, sons Daniel (Michele) Heggblod of Saint Augustine and Alex (Kathy) Heggblod of Ormond Beach, sister Marta Adams-Bush, brother Arne Martinson, Jr. (Karen), and sister Rosemarie (Ken) Conte, 5 grandchildren-Haley, Erik, Ian, Jansen, and Noelle along with several nieces and nephews.
