Ginger Kay Hann, 71, of Jacksonville passed away April 12, 2017. She was born in Jacksonville on April 28, 1945. Ginger graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, class of 1962, and went on to attend Florida State University. She was married to Richard Alan Hann who preceded her in death.
Ginger retired from Arnold Transportation and had also worked for AT&T, Met Life Ins and Bell South. She was also co-owner of The Mountain Property People, Tn. Ginger was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church and had a passion for Catholic Charities, Gardening, and Music.
Ginger is survived by daughters Mary “Heidi” Hann and Bridgett Hann Courtney, grandson Oliver “Charlie” Weeks & wife Kaley, and great-granddaughter Daphney Mae Weeks.
A visitation will be held at 6pm, with a Rosary service at 7pm, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood, 729 Edgewood Ave. South, Jacksonville FL 32205. Funeral services will be held at 10am Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 2609 Park Street, Jacksonville FL 32204. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville FL 32207. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens, 729 Edgewood Ave. S., Jacksonville FL 32205.
