I am very saddened over the loss of Gerald Sohn.  He was an amazing attorney and fine human being.  As a young African American attorney starting here in Florida in 1985 he was a true gem.  I learned so much from Mr. Sohn and he was always willing to share valuable pearls of wisdom. I was very successful with foreclosure defense and I credit much of that success to him. He truly was a brilliant man. Thank you for sitting down with me and teaching me step by step how to win cases and everything else you taught me. It is greatly appreciated and I will never forget you.  Hon. Leatrice Williams Walton.

I was deeply saddened to hear that Mr. Sohn had passed. I met him in the 90's when he sold me some property. He was always, always a very nice man.  I respected him greatly. Rest in Peace Mr. Sohn. I send my prayers to all his family and friends.

Gerald was a remarkable, brilliant friend, a great debater in college, an excellent lawyer.  In 68 years of friendship,  I never saw him lose his temper.  He'll be greatly missed.

What a wonderful Attorney and Person. Gerald was always fun for a younger attorney (back in the early 1980's) to learn from. Just a great guy.

So sorry for the loss.
