Gerald J. Boatright, 77, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Monday, 10-25-10. He was born in Alma, Georgia to Harvey Drawdy Boatright and Macy Steedley Boatright. He was a member of The Church at Sun Coast and a veteran with U.S. Army and Air Force.
He is predeceased by his parents Harvey and Macy Boatright; brother Jimmy Boatright; sisters Lillian Brigman and Myrtle Jeffries.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Mrs Ethel Roberts Boatright; son James Boatright; daughter Edna Boatright; granddaughters Macy and Elle Boatright; brothers Benny Boatright and wife Daisy; Harold Boatright and wife Dee; Steve Boatright and wife Cathy; sister Norma Oliver and husband Ron; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Ron, Rodney, Eddie, Craig, Kevin, Tim, Floyd, Steve, Brad and Hal.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, October 28, 2010 located at Town and Country Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 29, 2010 at The Church at Sun Coast 4200 George Town Drive Jacksonville, Florida 32210.
