Frank was born in New York City on March 15, 1946, to Joseph Spinato and Dorothy Spinato. He was one of four children; his siblings include brother Christopher Spinato, sister Grace Graf and youngest brother Peter Spinato.
Frank served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1972 in the Signal Core. Frank is lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 54 years, Louise L Spinato. They were married in New York City, NY on July 3, 1966. They moved to Cutler Bay, FL in 1973, where they built their printing business with their dear friends, George and Johanna D’Arpa. After Hurricane Andrew, he was asked to join Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School and Church as their facilities manager to rebuild the school. Loving known as Mr. Frank, he made a huge impact on many families and parishioners in the community. He was a devout Catholic, Eucharistic Minister, and friend to his church. His willingness to help others was unwavering, and he demonstrated this by making sure to always lend a helping hand to those in need.
Frank had a passion for fishing and boating. He loved spending time with his best friend George and his son Andrew, exploring and catching fish. He loved tinkering in his garage and enjoyed taking things apart and rebuilding them. Frank loved his grandchildren Ryan (7), Nolan (5) and Natalie (2) fearlessly and time spent with them was always filled with laughter and joy. Frank will be remembered as the cornerstone of his family and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Frank is remembered by his son Andrew Spinato, his daughter Adriann Machado, son-in-law Frank Machado, daughter-in-law Kristen Spinato and three grandchildren Ryan, Nolan, and Natalie. Also, by his brothers Christopher and Peter Spinato, his sister Grace Graf, and in-laws Carmela Spinato, and George Graf, Nieces Laurie Graf Bohenek, Lisa Basich, and Jennifer Spinato.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on December 5, 2020 at St. Joseph's Historic Old Church. Frank would want you to take caution due to Coronavirus. Please do not feel obligated to attend in person. A Zoom meeting will be set up for those who cannot attend. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Frank’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation or Mayo Clinic.
