Frank L. Kirkland, 91, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 after a very long illness. He was a native of Swainsboro, Georgia and had lived in Jacksonville, Florida since 1940. Frank was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Larry Daly's Sunday School at First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida. Frank retired from U.S. Gypsum Company, now USG, after 40 years.
Frank was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Jackie Moxley; son, David Kirkland and daughter, Sherry Moffitt. Frank is survived by his wife of 17 years, Brenda; son, Paul Kirkland (Sheila) of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren, Trevor Kirkland (Christine), Tiffany Kirkland, Jacksonville, FL; Jack, Jacob, Rachel and Kelsey Moffitt of Texas; great-grandson, Camden Kirkland and sister, Charlene Fulghum of Fernandina Beach, FL.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 with visitation one hour prior to service in the Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home with Rev. Ernie Baker, as Officiant, followed by interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
