Esther Rodriguez Rojas, 83, born in Monterrey, Mexico, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2017. While living in Mexico in her younger years, she served as a kindergarten teacher and later helped start the Montessori School. Esther was very active throughout the years in the Seventh Day Adventist Churches and was loved by all. With her husband (pastor Ismael Rojas) they established churches in Milwaukee and Racine, Wisconsin. Her sense of humor, warm smile, and kind spirit made her a blessing to be around. She loved her church, Bible study, singing hymns, and prayer. She was a bold witness of the love of Christ and was consistent in her Christian walk with the Lord. She loved her family and was loved by her family. She is survived by her three sons and one daughter: Guillermo, Alfredo (Angie), Alberto, and Laura (Robert) as well as by all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. The fond memories of her will keep her very much alive in the hearts of all that knew her.
A memorial service will be held for Esther at the Spanish Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5545 Firestone Road, Jacksonville, FL 32244, on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 beginning at 8:00 PM. HARDAGE-GIDDENS TOWN & COUNTRY FUNERAL HOME, 7242 Normandy Boulevard is serving the family.
