I am so sorry!  I just found out today.  We were good friends in the 1970's.  Libby, you are loved and missed!

I loved having Mrs Rammage for AP History. She was a wonderful teacher. Her passion for history led me to minor in History in college. My sincere condolences to her family.

I sent her an email after Katie Anderson emailed us about her deteriorating condition.  I wasn’t expecting a return email and was glad to receive a long, lovely  reply. Mrs. Libby was the best example of a Christ like servant. She was always willing to help, listen and genuinely interested in her church family and friends lives. She loved her grandchildren and family more than anything and she gave a warm comforting feeling to anyone in her presence. She will be missed GREATLY on this earth by everyone who knew her. To know Mrs. Libby was a gift and a blessing. Prayers for comfort and peace to the family 🙏🏼

Proverbs 31 says who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. Libby was a rare treasure indeed. She loved others and gave to others with all that was within her. Spending time with her always refreshed my soul. She cared so deeply about me and my family.  She always wanted to know how we were truly doing. She loved on my children so well. I cherish the times we had together especially when she shared stories from her own life. Some of the best ones made her laugh. I loved her laugh. She was such a gifted woman and yet always easy to talk to. I will miss you my friend but I will see you again. 

My first memory of Libby was the Sunday she volunteered to teach Sunday school for our class. I will treasure the memories of our Bible study meetings at her house, you always felt welcomed. My fondest memory is the time I helped care for her and listening to how much she loved her grandchildren  her face just lit up as she told me a story about each one. Heaven has gained a very special lady she will be truly missed.

I will always remember Christmas Eve and looking forward to her fabulous cookies she would bring for my mom, that have now become a staple!!  She was always so kind and interested in how my family was doing. I will miss her being around for family functions and just the joy she would bring to her family and grandkids. 

Libby was such an amazing, kind hearted soul. We loved spending time with her every Thanksgiving and Christmas with Chris and his family. It was always enjoyable to have conversations with her as a current teacher and see her love for family and friends and to always see the good in everyone and everything.

As Chris Rammage's best friend growing up, I have such fond memories of Libby. I remember feeling so welcomed and included by Libby whenever I visited including family dinners, roadtrips in their large van, and sleepovers at their house. The time I spent with Chris and his family are some of my happiest childhood memories. And I also felt glad that Libby and my mother got to know each other as friends through the friendship of Chris and I. I will miss you Libby.

I just remember her always being happy to see everyone. I loved watching her with Gene , she was a great example of the kind of life partner every spouse should strive to be. Always interested or excited to hear what was going on with myself and my family! 

Libby has been a very good friend from our days at Arlington Baptist Church and SS. Through the years there were many lunches, outings, trips & antique store visits, all of which were fun & lots of memories made. But during the last 2 1/2 years since her cancer diagnosis, so many of us got to witness an incredible example of a woman with a very deep faith, handling a very devastating situation with so much peace, dignity and a desire to live her days to the very fullest. She did not curl up and die, she LIVED and continued to enjoy her beloved family & friends. She was an inspiration to me and gave witness, in so many ways, of that deep faith that sustained her. While we grieve the loss of our friend Libby, I thank God for her life and rejoice that she is with Jesus and Gene and in her forever home.

We had the good fortune of knowing Libby through the marriage of Chris and Melissa.  Libby was a very caring and warm person, raising two outstanding boys.  She had a contagious smile and always a story to share.  She instilled her love of art in her grandchildren.  She will forever be remembered in our hearts.

As we all know, Elizabeth was a special person. She had a wonderful capacity to find joy even in the midst of dark times, always sustained by her  faith.  She was such a positive person, caring, honest and always ready to laugh! 
 It was Elizabeth who  reached out after her brother and I ended our marriage.  She made sure we stayed in touch, always so loving and giving.  We were able to meet in Boston in October 2021 (Thanks to her son Chris and his family) and found we still had our close connection.  That meeting full of  open, loving conversation is such a cherished  for me.


Aunt Libby has been an inspiration to me my whole life.  Her dignity and grace paired with love and humor through some difficult times set a pretty high bar that I aspire to reach. As a little girl, she let me follow her around like a puppy dog at every family gathering, and as a teen, she was an encourager, mentor and friend when I badly needed it. I will forever be grateful that she was part of my life.

Your Mom and I have been friends for a long time, going back to Arlington Baptist Church, but our friendship grew deeper the last few years.  Your mom was such an amazing lady, she loved her boys deeply and her grandchildren.  She always spoke of all the sweet memories she had made with each of you.  This last year, I learned how determined and passionate your mom was about her children and our Lord.  I admired her so much and will miss being around her.  She was an inspiration to me. I have nothing but positive memories of my aunt Elizabeth. She was one of the kindest, most patient, loving people I have ever known. I am sure all of her students are better people through learning from and interacting with her. Family and faith were everything to Elizabeth. I always appreciated the efforts she made to keep in touch and to stay up to date on my family. Elizabeth leaves behind a shining legacy and continues to be an inspiration for everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

My sincere condolences to the Rammage family. I will always remember her kindness, talent as an educator, and love for her Terry Parker community. As an educator of 18 years, Mrs. Rammage and many other teachers have been a source of inspiration during many hours of reflection in my own teaching. I met Libby as she attended my GriefShare class at Ft. Caroline Bapt. Church as she was grieving the loss of her husband. She was such a sweet lady and everyone in the class loved her. At the end of her first session she couldn’t finish as her health wouldn’t allow but she made a gift for everyone in the class and sent it by a friend. She and I and my other facilitator, Jennifer Rusnak always kept in touch. It was like we were all family. She will never be forgotten and will forever be missed. Heaven just got a little sweeter by her entrance.

It was an honor to be Elizabeth's colleague at Parker.  She set the mark for excellence in teaching.  My condolences to her family.

One of my favorite teachers! Her passion rubbed off on all that were in her class. To this day, I still have a passion for history, especially American History. She was a great educator and clearly loved what she did!

A powerful and devoted teacher. I pray she knew that she made a difference in the lives of many young people, including mine.

We will forever remember the amazing days of Connection Church life group at the Rammage household with both Gene & Libby. They brought such wonderful conversation, love and laughter each week, and always something tasty. To know them was to know the joy of Jesus and the love of family. They both are so very missed. We pray for peace and comfort as you continue to press on in the days ahead. What a great life they lived, and fun traditions and memories that will live through each of you. We love you all. I loved Libby so dearly. She helped me with some things no one knew about but her and I. She was a prayer warrior and a true friend to those she let in. The loss of her is great. But the celebration of her life is greater! I’m such a better woman, a better wife, a better friend, a better Christian because of her. I will feel her deep for a very long time.

My condolences to Chris, Scott, and the entire Rammage family.  Mrs. Rammage taught me in AP American History (1987-88) at Terry Parker.  She also attended Fort Caroline Christian Church with me and my family.  She was an incredible teacher and wonderful person.  I was fortunate to be her student.

May she rest in peace.  I hope she is rejoicing now that she is in heaven with God and her husband.  I will pray for the entire family.
