Doris (Cubra) Gaydosh, 90, formerly of Glassport, PA, passed away Monday, October 25, in St. Augustine, FL. She was born October 8, 1931, in McKeesport, PA, a daughter of the late Mike and Martha (Kusic) Cubra.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an administrative assistant at Copperweld in Glassport, PA, a retail clerk at the Hallmark Store in West Mifflin, PA, and a front service bagger and greeter at Publix Supermarket in Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church in McKeesport, PA. Her favorite job was being a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend of many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard (“Buddy”) Gaydosh, her sister Diane (“Daisy”) Simon, and her brothers Eli Cubra, Nick Cubra, and Rudy Cubra. Surviving are her son, Ronald Gaydosh and his wife, Kristin, of Clinton, OH; her daughter Kathy (Gaydosh) Schaan and her husband, Kevin, of Jacksonville, FL; her brother Milo Cubra and his wife, Grace, of Albuquerque, NM; and her sister-in-law, Dolores Cubra, of Glassport, PA, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Shelly Pike, Keri Wright, and Jinny Mills-Barfield for their loving care of mom, as well as everyone at the Benton House of St. Johns in St. Augustine, FL, where she resided in memory care.
