Debra Jean Smith , age 60, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on January 3, 2016 at the Hadlow Center for Caring. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 8, 1955 to Richard and Ellaymah Smith.
Prior to her retirement she was an operator for Southern Bell Telephone Company in Jacksonville.
She is survived by three sons, Anthony Megas, Mathew Smith and Aaron Bruns all of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Talia, A.J., Alexzander, Khalid, Rashaan, Christian, Dominick and Jasmine.. Debbie is also survived by her brother, Richard Smith and sisters Darlene Clark, Sandy Sarles, and Ellaymah Radford. She was preceded in death by her father, Posh her mother Ellaymah, niece Alicia Britt and nephew Christopher Smith.
A visitation will be on Thursday January 7, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
A funeral service will be on Friday January 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hardage- Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Arrrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery.
