He leaves behind a great legacy of love, dedication, hard work and passion for his family, a loving wife of all most 19 years, Trudi who is originally from Austria and still works 3 days a week. They married on December 27, 1997. His pride and joy, a daughter, Deborah Kay Quartararo who lost her husband, August, in 2007; a loving grandson, August Michael Quartararo Jr who is engaged to Janine Guastamacchia; His older sister, Dorothy Johnston who still resides in Washington, Pa; His many nieces and nephews, Tim Davis, his wife Colleen and his children, Troy and his daughter, Deanna, Tiffany and her husband, Zan, Keith and his wife, Nastasha, Judi Nelson and her husband, John and their daughter Rebecca, Julie Davis, Tom Johnston and his wife Dana and their children Mike and Kara, Sue Lindsay and husband Bob; Larry Johnston, and Sally Johnston; great nieces and nephews, Ian, Emma, Cole, Layne, Brian, Kevin, Nathan and his wife, Kelly and Mattie; his step-children, John Wawra and his wife Linda and their daughter Jennifer, Mary Wright and her husband Jeff, Ron and his son, Ronald Jr., David Baiel, Traci Baiel; step-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Samantha, Blake, Makayla and Ella, Kyle and Kelzy; sister-in-law, Heidi Kelz who lives in Austria with her family.
According to his wife, David was the most loving husband. According to his daughter, he was the best father, step dad, grandfather, opa, brother and uncle to which his family all agrees…We love you so much. You will be missed terribly.
