Darlene Ann Cox, 62, passed away October 8, 2011, following a lengthy illness. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend who enjoyed traveling, the beach, horses and the outdoors. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, La Trelle Creel; fiancée, Stanley Driggers; brothers, Jack Edward and Billy Wayne Cox; a very dear and life-long friend, Cheryl Childs; nephews and nieces, Ritchie, Donald and Timothy Cox, Sheri White and Michelle Rivera; and several great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, from 4 until 8 PM, at Town and Country Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation.
